Jazz and improvised music

Welcome to the Department of Jazz and improvised music CRR of Paris. In September 2006 the specialized program of jazz and improvised music was created in the conservatories in the city of Paris. The Regional Conservatory (CRR) is responsible for structuring and managing the curriculum and is thus at the heart of a network of jazz classes that spans to13 institutions. Mr. Jean-Charles Richard and Mr. Jean-Michel Kajdan coordinate the department.
The CRR provides training (specialized program) two years after which a DEM may be issued. For previous levels 1, 2 and 3 amateur cycles, please contact directly the establishments that offer courses in jazz and improvisation in Paris: CMA (5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th arrondissements).
A basic training course post DEM in collaboration with Paris IV Sorbonne, the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt and Didier Lockwood Music Center is offered as part of the higher education artistic Paris Boulogne-Billancourt center (PSPBB). For more information on this training: http://www.pspbb.fr/site/
